So nervous for my glucose test Wednesday 😭 does anyone know how long it usually takes to get results…

It took my dr a couple of days. I got it done on a Thursday and got the results on Tuesday

They called me with the results the next day for mine

took mine a week

I failed so I got my results the same day with both pregnancies

I got my results within a couple of hours..

Yes , I think I got 83 . it was supposed to be between 60 something and 130 something

I was told to fast for 12 hrs by my doctor, I was terrified of failing and having to take the 3 hr test since I've gained a bunch of weight - so I ended up fasting for 14 hrs and only drank water up until my appointment . needless to say I was starving and ready to hurt someone that morning! but it was worth it and I went pigging out right after I was done there. I had the orange flavor and it wasn't bad at all. tasted like flat Sunkist.

@ftm-jess, I was told to not eat past 12 the night before! I usually don't anyways lol. I'm going to bring me some snacks in my purse to eat afterwards 😭

Yes I highly recommend you doing that , I ate a granola bar on the way out of the office,lol.

I used to wake up during the night feeling starved and I would have to eat something small , and I had to take the test while I was going through that phase. it was horrible , I felt dizzy and sick all morning. glad that is over and done with. now I have to go for my strep b test on Thursday and first cervical check...

@ngujen, i failed the first test but I passed the second. My doctor said its pretty common to fail the first test

I got mine back I think 2 hours later but u will ha e to call ur doctor after 2hours or u problem won't get back till the next day
