Hm depending on your job it's different everywhere....I would first see what you guy's policy is and go from there

I would wait 90 days if possible. simply because while they can't legally fire you for that at any point at 90 days most places (over here at least) can fire you for just about anything before then. at 90 days your protected with some employee rights

i just went through that at my new job i work at a daycare center and im like well maybe they wont hire me cause im in my 7month so i will be leaving soon for maternity leave but my supervisor gave me her personal cell number and i text her she was fine with it she even saved baby ah place in the center

tell them after you learn the policies and worked for at least a month.. like @bbyenolan22 said some places protect you by law they can't fire you it's discrimination

Just make sure the state that you live in is not an at will state meaning that can fire you for anything they see fit.

@bbyenolan22, by the time those 90 days pass I will be beyond showing so I would have to take initiative beforehand

@faithplus2, you're really lucky I wish I can get a job where I can take my baby with me but this will do for now I will work to the best of my ability to show them im a good worker and then once I start showing a lot I'll break it to them

ah yeah I don't know then hun but I'll keep you in my thoughts and hope you figure out what's best :) I'm 30 weeks and literally just started showing so I suppose I didn't think about that

@alana0810, thank you so much I've been praying and trying and God finally heard me it might be a job standing up but the pay is not bad so it would work as my motivation to keep working I just hope things could just get better from here on. The father of the baby has even began to help me which it came as a surprise but hey to each its own I trust that things could only get better from here
