When will I give my hospital my birth plan ? I just read a story online about how medical students accidentally cut the baby's foreskin on his penis trying to cut the umbilical cord and I want NO MEDICAL STUDENTS present anytime what so ever !

Also when your at the hospital you can give a copy to your nurse, lay it out on a table or counter for them to see. My hospital also has a white board for me to write the "most important" things on.

why are they even having students do that on actual patients. that's crazy, I had a student when I delivered my first but he just stood there.

they asked if a student could be present to watch the birth. I said yes just as long as they keep their distance and know that they're only their ti watch. but student didn't like what I said so they never mind me lol
