By the end of tomorrow , day 3 of 3 I will have driven 478 miles collectively for doctors appointments that started Thursday! Drove to Tacoma Thursday ( 99 miles one way 198 round trip ) for my High Risk Consult and growth ultrasound and dopplers for placenta blood flow which BEST case scenario I make it to 38 weeks WORSE case scenario next week , so I was advised to get the 2 steroid injections 24 hours apart to help mature Christians lungs in case of the worse case scenario , my doctors office called and made me an appointment for the next day Friday at labor and delivery for first another non stress test and my second steroid injection . So Friday I drove to Olympia ( 70 miles one way 140 round trip ) Get to the hospital and back in the room and they did my vitals well I had a fever of 101 and my blood pressure was high . They hook me up for my non stress test which was great baby looked great , but decide they needed to draw blood for some labs and take a sample of urine to make sure I wasn't spilling protein . The doctor than ordered my second steroid shot but as soon after my urine came back they decided they needed to do a 12 hr urine sample and sent me on my way home only to come back up tomorrow Saturday to Olympia ( 70 miles 140 round trip ) to drop of my 12 hr urine sample at the lab. I am doing this all being almost 30 weeks pregnant while still managing to work my jobs at night when I get home and finding time for my 6 year old . Needless to say this mama is getting her butt kicked !!! Off to bed so I can get up and drive another 140 miles to drop off some peeeeeeeee!
