Hospitals tend to induce or do things to speed up contractions after your water breaks midwifes are more natural and there for figure you want to be as well. Just cause your water breaks doesn't mean the baby is coming right then

no when your water break you go to the hospital immediately. your doctor just want her money for delivering the baby. but when my water broke they told me to go straight in ..

@californiahaley, I think I would feel safer in the hospital though once your water breaks they can't send you home if you go right? I got induced with my 1st and yes it sucked but idk I just don't feel it's right

when my water broke I called my Dr office and they told me to go to the hospital immediately even though I wasn't contracting and I sat in the ER waiting room for 30 mins before they got my information from me to call up to L&D for a nurse to come get me

Yeah there is something wrong with that midwife dont wait to go.in if ur watet breaka. Some drs are like that some won't check until 39 weeks mine told me he would start checking at 37 weeks but I didn't make it that far lol.

You can deliver within 24 hours after water breaks after that there is risk of infection

my aunts water broke at 1pm on August 6th, and at 6pm on August 7th she had my cousin. they sent my aunt home since she want dialating fast enough
