great there's supposed to be a heat advisory this weekend and we have no ac and atm we can't afford one money is super tight .....I'm pretty sure the fans will fail to keep us cool :-/ might send my kids to my dad's for the weekend they don't need to be in this heat and as for me me nobody wants to be in a heat advisory at 37 weeks ...never cared to much for summer heat

put coolers with ice infront of fans.. helps a ton more.

Look on Craigslist or at Garage sales, You can probably find a used one pretty cheap and spray out the back of it with a water hose and let it dry to kinda clean it out and even if it's a small one to put in a bedroom for your kids it will help tremendously

Okay, true prices have gone up... I know this because my father used to buy and sell them sort of a hobby/business type thing, Keep looking and I'm sure you'll run across something soon at least I hope!

I'm 38 weeks and its like 103° with the heat index...my feet and ankles hurt like hell and r swollen...and that's being in the air all day and off my feet...I feel for u so bad...I broke down and bought a second used unit this week...we found one on the swap site on fb that was in my area and it was only $40...this baby needs to come so I can have my body back to normal...
