As far as I know, when it comes to prevention - none. Your genetics and skin type will determine the appearance of stretch marks, if any. Therefore, just choose the most pure, simple and natural oil and apply it, at least it won't do any harm to you and your wallet. As for treating existing strtech marks I can recommend you NOT to use Mederma based on my friend's experience. She used it on fresh stretch marks after her pregnancy for about 6 months and so no results.

I've been using Palmers Cocoa Butter and it's kept stretch marks away this whole pregnancy. To me, they're inevitable, and I just now got like 2 tiny ones at 35 weeks.

only for like 2 months I'm really tiny and a ftm I don't think I'm gonna get any stretch marks but I'm using just in case my sister's didn't get any we're all itty bitty lol
