Who lives in Illinois? I currently live in California and my husband just got offered to go interview for a position with AT&T in Illinois but we know nothing about that state. So I am just curious what other people's opinions are on that state and what it's like there?

I've lived in Cali for 8 years but grew up in Chicago. It really depends on what part of the state you are looking at to be honest.

Depends where you go in the state. It's alot cheaper than Cali. Thats for sure!

I pretty sure it's in Chicago. How did you guys like it there? Is Chicago cheaper than Sacramento?

I lived in Missouri my whole life in a small town near Illinois boarder... The state taxes are high I worked in Illinois... I never visited Chicago but my best friend lives there she likes it but my husband just had a friend move here from Chicago.. He hated it so I think it's a toss up.. Personally I didn't like Illinois though.

Oh and yes it is way cheaper but.youll probably make less there too.. So potentially your finances would probably equal out the same..
