Babies tend to slow their weight gain at the end of pregnancy and ultrasounds can be off by 2 pounds either way

They dont slow down their weight gain. It increases to 1/2 pound every week during your last 4 weeks of pregnancy. That being why most Dr's won't let you go over 40 weeks. The bigger the baby the more complicated the labor can be.

How many weeks were you when you got that ultrasound? Curious because my little guy was 5 lbs at 32 weeks

I'm getting induced Thursday or Friday. @odixiedelight I'm 37 weeks and 4 days now. I'll almost be 39 weeks when they induce me

So can expect about a pound increase in the baby's weight. Estimated weight by sonagrams are often off, i wouldn't put a whole lotta faith in it.
