Yea looks like it's about to fall off they start to smell really bad when it's time to fall off...

Yes it's like pinkish red, it's not like fresh flesh and thank you! just to me it looks yucky and not good :/ @phasion

when it falls off its still going to bleed just a tiny bit for like a week so continue to clean it well with alcohol

if its a loud foul smell take him to the Dr but it does suppose to have a little smell to it because its rotting away. also is that red i see? if so its not normal

My doctor told me it shouldn't hurt them. they only cry because it's cold on their skin and its a shock but yes it looks all normal hun :)

my babies fell off last night ... smell awful also and it had some greenish white too...so I called my mom and she said its normal. she had eight kids

I used alcohol wipes on it that her doctor gave me... really helped dry it out and heal faster.

my babya looked just like that too but it bled some! They say it doesnt hurt them at all, I didnt put anything on it

Doesn't look infected, my son's just fell off last night after almost 2wks!

I was putting peroxide on my sons. It helped it dry up quicker stay clean and fall off.

I saw a band thing for newborns for their bellybutton at Burlington.. I guess it helps with the healing?
