how do I go about buying a house? tired of renting just don't know how to go about it like if a house says it goes for 152,900 do you pay that up front to get it? or make monthly payments like renting till you get to that amount? is that what the mortgage is? I deff need to pay off some stuff that's affecting my credit first I'm sure..anyone know? I'm ready for my family to have our own

Most likely you have to pay atleast 10% upfront depends on credit and the real estate.... The rest is paid monthly which is the mortgage but that also is going to includes tax fees

You would contact a mortgage broker to see if you qualify for a home loan. If there's some blemishes on your credit most times they will tell you what to pay off. If approved you would get a pre approval letter and then contact a realtor. Most realtor won't meet you unless they know there's an approval. Then you would start the process of looking. The amount of your payments depends on your credit, fees, taxes, insurance, etc.... Hope this helps! Good luck!

In my opinion I think it's always best to go to a local bank (chase) Etc see how much you qualify for then search for a home because a realtor charges money to do so! Also first time homebuyers qualify for the 3% down plus If there closing cost!!!
