insurance, I filled my babies out at the hospital. maybe try asking the doctors how to go about it now

@threekings101415 see he wasn't discharged yet , do you think that's why ? Only papers I had for was for birth certificate and social security card

when I had both my kids , a woman came in my room the next morning and asked did I want my baby to have insurance I said yes, she asked a couple questions and I received his insurance card in less than 3weeks. try checking with the hospital they may have forgot to ask.

You have to bring the papers they give for birth so they can prove his birth then they will add him

@krys they gave me proof of birth paper and the social security proof paper I suppose to take them to welfare?

Yea you bring those to the welfare office that just proves he has been born then they will add him and ask you to bring the original copy's when you get them

Probably just your Id if your already on the insurance they should have yours but you could bring your b/c n ss card along with Id just to be on the safe side but I've always just brought the babies papers n my Id

That's what I would do , I don't think they really need it if your already on and your just adding baby anyway so I wouldn't worry to much just bring Id and babies papers and everything should be just fine
