yes. unless your doctor says it's fine to start labor. see I am 37 weeks and I am already 3-4cm and my doctor told me to try and walk. he said I could go into labor any day now. I also have a preemie(4 now) so it was rough to have him in the hospital longer than when I was in..

Exactly! @babygirl10-11 I just feel like sometimes those people aren't really thinking of what's best for the baby.

Well I was kinda like that.. I was at 1cm for awhile.. and I never got this far along with any of my pregnancy so I wanted him out but I didn't rush it..

I wanted to try and get mine out with natural ways like walking sex certain foods but i changed my mind because I dont want to rush him and want him to come when he comes I had a doc appt the 13th and said it maybe your last week for my next appt the 21st being pregnant but if not we can discuss induction I told her no I want it to happen naturally, I don't believe sex certain food and walking helps anyways baby comes when baby come plus august 7th isn't dreadfully far I'm just excited lol

exactly some from around here kept bragging about having her babies at 31 weeks and she did deliver at 31 weeks with her last one and that baby weighed 9lbs and had some lung problems and blood gas issues, no baby is ready that early no matter how big or small , thankfully her baby is okay now though

Modern medicine is so messed up. 20-30 years ago it was perfectly fine to get to 42 weeks. Now people are trying to self induce at 35 weeks, or Drs decide to induce at 38 weeks. What if you ovulated later than you thought and baby was just measuring ahead? Baby could really be 33 weeks when you give birth and their lungs might fail. It's really messed up. And Drs induce just for convenience because they want to get a full nights sleep or go on vacation. They're also giving c sections out like fucking candy because the insurance actually gives them a quota lmao. I wish I could have a midwife 😑 Drs actually cut your perineum so that delivery is easier and faster for THEM. It's not their labor or their birth!! Ugh it makes me so mad lol.

@bria.k, I have to have C-sections at 39 weeks my body won't get past a 4. My doctor only makes me have them so my uterus doesn't get messed up. I always thought that they didn't induce you unless there was an issue or you were at 42 weeks. Because at 42 weeks the baby could get too big for mom to try and vag delivery. I was induced at 39 weeks the first time because I was 1cm and I had gained 8pounds in a week from water which wasn't good. The people I see on here trying to practically force babies out just makes me mad because that baby isn't ready.
