Do you mommies recommend a pacifier ? I haven't gave one to my son yet. But he just cries so much after I feed, burp, change him..
I haven't given my son a paci he's three months I tried once the other day and he hated it
My bf daughter never really took a paci. Just didn't like it. She always nurses on me for everything. Comfort, going to sleep, food, everything, since she was born!
Any are fine. Some babies will take any kind other will only take one brand or type just depends. We use NUK my sister uses MAM
How old is he? Camilles at the point in teething, so she bites so I pull her off and tell her no and she just laughs at me!
My son uses me for comfort. He won't eat he just likes to be latched on. I think I'll wait a few more weeks before giving him one. @camillesmom
That is very true, they say wait like 2-3 weeks so it doesn't cause nipple confusion, since it's a different sucking technique from the breast and paci, then again I gave it to my daughter, and she kept waking up when it would fall out so I never got any sleep so I took it away, and then she started using me as a paci so I tried to give it back to her, she refused it and still to this day she uses me as a paci and to take naps during the day, and she's almost 9 months
Is there a certain type of pacifier to give babies or is any okay ? @uhohitskyra
At a lot of hospitals they say it will cause nipple confusion and yes it is possible but constantly using the breast for comfort isn't a good idea either. There has to be a balance. My baby girl nurses just fine but from time to time needs her Paci for comfort. Sometimes when she's gassy even a little sugar water on it helps the pain. Modern medicine is great and all but sometimes good old school mommy tricks just work best.
I planned on waiting as long as possible to give it to him but the day after he was born he came back from getting his poor little pee pee cut lol and had one in his mouth the nurse gave it to him without asking 😡
The hospital didn't give one lol they said something about it not being okay while breastfeeding.. @uhohitskyra
I haven't gave him one cause my mom and MIL say he'll get too attached or his teeth will come in crooked.. @to bi2696 @xxbruinsbabexx
I use one and it works and he doesn't always want it he doesn't need it t sleep or to fall asleep but it dos help him fall asleep but every baby is different
Oh ok, Yea, if you can hold off on it I would cause it will be easier in the long run
