So how many of you plan on getting an epidural/pain meds though the IV? Which one do you plan on…

i did both the nubane didnt work for me just made me drowsy

what's nubane? is that the one through the IV? Did the epidural hurt? 😭

I plan on trying natural if not meds through iv

@mrscaldwell6, same here, but I've heard mixed reviews on the pain meds through the IV

i've heard the pain meds just make you loopy and drowsy, doesn't really help with the pain. i did epidural and at that point your pain is already so bad the needle stick is nothing. Going for a natural birth if I can take it

I was determined to have a natural birth but after labor for over 24 hours I was in too much pain. An epidural was risky because of my blood pressure so I went with the IV med. IT MADE ME CRAZY!!!! I felt like in was crawling out of my skin. I actually feel like it made the pain worse so I got an epidural under close supervision.

I did the med in the IV for both labors. the first time it worked and I slept till I had to push and then this time I only worked for like one contraction lol I was too scared to get the epidural because of all the stories of ladies saying the back pain after. the mindgraines and my mom said that you could get paralyzed so yea I wasn't taking that risk lol.

I need both screw pain!! I'm having a c section for the third time.
