Really you should have a fully packed diaper bag (most hospitals provide diapers and will send extras home if package is open), but add these things, Finger nail clippers (baby ones) or nail file, baby powder, different size outfits never know what size or length, paci (if you want), baby clothes, baby mittens (so no scratches to face), a small stuffed toy, and of course a car seat

Go ahead and pack the diaper bag that u will be using regularly that way you have a combination of items and then put a receiving blanket and 2 outfits (generally onsies or sleepers) and you should be fine ☺️

You don't have to pack a lot because the hospital will give you majority.... I just say make sure you have a pacifier, blankets, outfit and hand mittens and maybe a hat...

baby is the easy part

I don't think I needed anything for my son at the hospital. They provided a take home shirt, blanket, hat, a pack of diapers & a thing of wipes. Of course I packed several diapers, wipes, outfits, but I didn't "need" any of it. It was more stuff to carry out of there sore and along with a baby. OH!!! A car seat! That's the only thing I NEEDED.

I didn't need anything and we were there 3 days I'd bring a nice soft fluffy baby blanket I'm glad I had that Sadie loved ot
