there's no mistakes you can seriously drink while breastfeeding. the amount of alcohol that would get to your infant is very minimum and will not effect your child. safe to drive safe to breastfeed. only worry would be if you could actually hold your baby without harming it. also alcohol can sometimes cause supply issues. drinking beer helps with supply though bc it has brewers yeast.

I'm going to drink, I'm just going to pump before and give my body enough time to get all the alcohol out. Then pump and dump and get alcohol test strips

@dkk, you know you really don't have to pump and dump right? there's a link above where it explains.

u can still drink lol, i already bought test strips. Pump a bunch before you leave and when you get back pump n.dump til.its alcohol free!
