milk doesn't come in until after baby is born and it takes usually 3 to 5 days after for it to come in. colostrum comes in usually after 20 weeks of pregnancy. it's baby's 1st meal!!
Breast milk can come in as well. I started with colostrum. I already talked to my doc about it. He said if I want I could start pumping and saving it. @steph11
@alye27, my best friends milk came in early also and she pumped and stored before baby got here too. Some moms breastfeed throughout their pregnancy with no issues. If dr says it's ok then go for it.
