I was told 37 weeks is the "new" 40 weeks. I'm stuck in a hard place with me being 34 weeks I'm 3.7…

my youngest came a wk prior to my due date and was perfectly fine and healthy. I wouldn't like taking all those meds either...knowing me I probably wouldn't.

I was 35 weeks when I had him he was perfectly healthy he didn't have to spend anytime in NICU he did have a little trouble keeping his body temperature up and had low blood sugar so they kept him.in the nursery from noon until 3am that morning I.got.to bring him to my room. he did have jaundice but we got released 4 days after I had him he was 4lbs 5oz at birth now he is 6 months and he is 18lbs now!! So don't worry if u do deliver before 37 weeks most babies do.perfectly fine if born before full term

Yea he's an eagar one! if ur 34 wks now try keep him in there to at least 37. At that point he'll be good to go

I was 36. they took my baby right after to the nicu. every one is different!

That stuff trips me out. My son was full term, 40 weeks and was only 5lbs 11oz. My doctor even wanted to induce me at 39 weeks and I told him to F off and that I was going to be induced on my due date. I can't imagine 37 weeks being "full term". Good luck though.

exactly! I was going through preterm labor last week and was given treatment and steriods for the baby lungs. then this afternoon I found out I am 3.7 centimeters dilated and it's like the baby is going to come early and I gotta take all these pills I don't feel comfortable taking@kimberlyyyy
