10 days until my due date. I'm looking for natural ways to induce labor. My first son was a week late. I don't want the same issue again.

Yeah it was horrible.. I would try everything first; spicy food, sex, walking, stairs, bouncing on a ball, raw pineapple, warm but not too hot bath, have your OB "agitate" your cervix it's not sweeping your membranes but close too it. My doctor did that, I went home swept mopped, had sex and took a warm bath, lost my mucus plug and had him 2 days later.. But try everything before the oil.. Use it as a last resort. @mommykiwi
@mommykiwi, my dr checked me Friday and I was 3cm dilated, 50% effaced, and he was -1 station so they told me they expect to see me in labor and delivery around Monday but my contractions come and go so I feel it won't happen... :-( your dr tell you anything?
castor oil will give you major shits and may actually cause the baby to swallow his poop. Thats what my doctor told me. but, you are welcome to try it! ive heard successful stories with it. with me it took pumping with a breast pump and lots of stairs!! sex will also soften the cervix, even though sex can be uncomfortable towards the end, it does help. dancing can help as well!!

I drank the castor oil, and all it did was give me horrible stomach cramps, and diarrhea. @mommykiwi

THIS MIGHT BE TMI BUT SEX IS THE BEST IN SAFEST WAY TO GO INTO LABOR THAT IS HOW I HAD MY FIRST CHILD A WEEK EARLY
