So my doctor hasn't ever "checked me out" except when I went in on an emergency because she thought my water broke. Should she be checking my cervix & stuff now? All she does is talk to me & use the doppler on me & measure me, each appointment, that's it. I could basically do the whole appointment by myself at home 😡 yet we drive 30 miles every 2 weeks & don't even get ultrasounds anymore. She doesn't even sit down and ask me questions. She talks to my fiancé & I put in the open (at the front desk)

Ultra sounds are not normally done after the "big" ultra sounds at 20-25 weeks unless you are high risk. As far as the checking of your cervix and what not, my doc doesn't start doing that until about 36 weeks. Hope this helps.

@stayfitmom.com, she was doing them first thing every visit. Even on one of my last ultrasounds she said next time we will try to get a better picture, meaning she planned on doing one but she stopped out of no where. I'm just bugged .

It's normal. Unless there is an issue they don't do another ultrasound after anatomy ultrasound (gender). The 3D and 4D and any ultrasound after you have to pay for. Pelvic exam usually start at 36 weeks if there are no complications.
