sorry passed out lol. so happy they admitted you. yes i was 4 cm dilated at the time.
I came back to the hospital and I'm 3cm dilated and 90% effaced so they are admitting me @mamalamadingdong thanks for the info :)
There are no actual studies that have been done to prove it works, but this is definitely one of the most common and sworn by methods for moms throughout the years. It's also said to help prevent tearing, to lessen the pain and to make the delivery quicker. Although, remember- that's all anecdotal. So how are you now with pain? Any updates/progression?
Yeah, Walmart does usually carry it as well. I'd have someone call and check first, though to be sure. What you would need to do is swallow 3 capsules, then stick 2 capsules up your hoohah until they disintegrate. Let me find a link... Ok, here's one: ссылка
@mamalamadingdong, that's what it seem like I have to do keep bugging them cause this pain is unbearable , do they sell the primrose oil at walmart too? cause where I live Walgreens is closed
if they didn't even exam you i would plant my butt there till they did. i fought them on it with my oldest had her 3 hours later. i refused to go home. course it was new years eve also and i was ruining their quiet night lol
If you have anyone that can run out to Walgreens or something for you, see if you can get some Evening Primrose Oil fast. It should put you into labor.
Awh, honey then this might be it! Back labor is really painful- If the pain is getting unbearable, just keep calling and bugging them. They usually don't want to see you until they have to, but if you keep telling them how much pain you're in, they will eventually let you come in. You really have to be demanding, lol.
@peachs75 really? I went to the hospital cause it hurts so much like wanting to cry bad and I've timed them it's 3-5 min and they just sent me home :( what did you tell them?
@madreof2 each time it makes me want to cry I get the pain like contractions and every 3-5 min and no position helps
Oh yeah, I just remembered... When the contractions got bad, I got on the bed on my hands and knees and did some yoga. It helps a lot for back labor. You basically just want to curl your back up and press your chin into your chest, hold it, then release into arching your back down and chin up. Showers help, too. I wouldn't do a bath if you're far along, it could be dangerous getting in and out.
omg yes and I am praying hard i don't have it again. i never had "normal" contractions. where the whole tummy gets hard. it was one side then other or just feeling my spine being yanked out. if you can time them tell that nurse to shove it and demand you are seen.
YES i wanted to cry ! trust when its the real thing its going to hurt unless you can tolerate pain good
Well, I didn't know I had back labor until after my water broke and I started having real contractions. (I had a ton of Branxton Hicks up to that point, but all that was was feeling my tummy tighten.) I knew it was back labor because I felt all the contractions more towards my back rather than being towards the front. Are you asking about Braxton Hicks? Because I don't see how you could have back labor without being in labor, hehe.
when did it start and what did you do ? I get really bad pains every 3-5 min and the nurse told me to take tylenol and warm baths and try to sleep but I can't sleep thru this pain it's been going on all day @mamalamadingdong
Woohoo!!! Glad things progressed for you, can't wait to hear how things went and see some baby pics!!!
