My due date is Dec 31st during Winter Break and when I go back to work, I will work a few weeks before Spring Break lol

Oh they've been so gracious about it! I'm so lucky! I just hate the thought of returning to work end of October! It's less than three months! Hoping I'll be able to pump and stay focused from 7-5! Everyday!

@tracynangel, yes that will be a bummer missing the beginning of the school year- but this is a momentous event in your life and everyone should understand!

@burgescd, me too, with it being summer. School starts soon though and I am due in October. Being a FTM as well makes me extremely nervous about being in the third trimester while working! I teach 4th grade

I am a FTM and I literally just texted another teacher friend about this. I will teach First Grade this year (looping with my kids-bonus). I am going to try to use rocking chair as much as possible and find comfy shoes. I am also worried I will be a tad disconnected when school starts. Most of my first trimester was during the break so I have been spoiled moving at my own pace.

Summer vacation now and then two months maternity leave so it sort of worked out time wise. It sucks that I'll miss the beginning of the year thiggh

I teach kindergarten! I wore Toms all pregnancy! They stretched with my feet, so I would get it half size bigger and stick insoles in them. Like wearing slippers I swear. I'm on my feet for 10 hours a day. The kids don't have nap time!

not a teacher (work in healthcare), but also on my feet all day for work. I wear danskin clogs, and compression socks if needed. Also, lots of water!
