the qtip method always worked for my baby. take a qtip with Vaseline and insert just the tip and swirl it around...worked for her in less then a minute and sometimes later that day.

My baby's doctor told me to give my baby Gerber pear juice diluted with some water. I usually mix 1 Oz pear juice with 1 Oz water and it works great for me.
