my view not in a million years I expected to be having another baby shower I was officially done with having kids and to god wishes I wasn't.....I feel so lucky not cause of my shower but the fact that I was choose yet again to be a mom to my 5th baby

So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that
So I just found out I'm pregnant with my second baby on Thursday and I told my mom on Friday after my fiance told his mom and dad and today I was talking with my mom and if baby is a boy I'm not going to have a baby shower but if it's a girl it's going to be a small baby shower and my mom told me that I can't have another baby shower that it's now how it works. So do I have a shower or not? Any advice?
