My BF said , call the police and tell them you would like to recover your property . He said the police will meet you there or escort you there to house . But the police can't make them open the door without a warrant . And he said if they still don't give it to you , file a police report and take them to court . That police report is on file so they can't say you abandoned your stuff .

@momofroyalty, the laws may be different because we are in California . My BF is law enforcement out here in Cali .
