@tori27, oh dear... I met my colleague and she said her daughter had 3 sections and alright... one of mums from my son's school just had a baby and her choise was to have a section... She said no chance she would go for natural....
so many people, so many opinions..
will see how it goes...when I had section I had contractions that day and would have a baby that/next day anyway)) xx
@shelby, thank you for your comment. I believe that natural labour is better and I really more convenient to go for it.. of course very scary, not exciting too xxx
Natural every time (unless for medical reasons/emergency), the thought of a section scares me even though I'm not scared of hospitals, ops, needles, no need to be in control etc
had pre eclapcia in my pregnancy was induced but ended up having a emergency c section as blood pressure rocketed took me almost 8 weeks to recover enough to be able to do normal day to day things was a bad recovery luckily was staying with my mum at the time, I have no idea how would cope if had to have another with having to do school run and look after my son one good thing is my partner would be supportive and do what he could around work (my sons dad didn't bother much), never had a natural labour but my cousin had stitches said she was uncomfortable for about a week and they itched but helped to put a cold compress on but at least she could move about and was only in hospital for two days xx
@pudding2, I absolutely agree with you... I read that C section isn't good for baby too.... my C Section wasnt bad to be honest, because I had very complicated pregnancy and I just couldn't wait when it finish... only I remember I was in agony for two weeks after and scart area for few years after annoyed me a lot.... now I have my 9 year old son who needs me and I can't imagine how I am gonna cope with scart after C section now with older boy and baby..
how it is after natural labour of you have stitches and cuts... how bad it's after? I know its very individual, but how long need to get back to normal life xxxx
I had c section with my son 9 years ago defo don't want one this time unless absolutely necessary had to have staples not stitches after mine and had a major infection, am pushing for a vbac and consultant is pretty confident I can have a natural birth but as long as I have a healthy happy baby I will go through whatever I need to xx
@joebi, thank you for your comment. it's really nice that you all share with your experience and I feel more safe and confident reading your all comments... my midwife didn't talk to me about it yet... consultant doesn't seems interested at all....
my husband advice to go for C section, because he has experience with two previous kids from first marriage and says natural labour was so bad and all this stitched etc..... xx
I had a section with my first and managed a natural delivery on Wednesday with my daughter and would recommend it, I was out of hospital after 13 hours and home with my little bundle, I did the school run the day after and today I am off to a family fun day, would still be in hospital if I'd had a section probably climbing the walls!! X read up on it and speak to your midwife, I was adamant I wanted a VBAC this time but they will talk you through risks pros and cons of both xx
Oh wow! I never had natural labour and feel same about it... read and heard so many terrifying stories about both.. feel excited and scared same time...
