I take my Sugar Test Monday .. What should I expect from it ? What's it like ? & what will happen if I fail it ?

I have no Idea /: I just know I go in for a sugar test monday at 8:45 .. My dr didn't say much about it really ...

What I did was they gave me my suit drink, Lemon-Lime flavor, and I had 5 mins to drink it. After that you cant eat or drink anything for an hour. After that hour is over they draw your blood and call you with your results. I passed. but if you dont pass you have to take a 3 hour one, which I didnt have todo that so idk what they do lol.

Sugar* not suit lol. and it should be like a day or two before you get the call.

And if you don't pass the three hour test, they most likely will diagnose you with gestational diabetes. I have it now, they didn't even do the three hour test. Now I have to prick my finger 4-6 times daily and have a meal plan set up

I had to get one done early because diabetes runs in both sides of my family. I had fruit punch and it was really good! I only have to wait an hour but if I didn't pass that I would've had to do the 3 hr one. My next one is Monday also so I hope I get the same drink lol
