So tomorrow I have my 36th week appointment.. just wanted to know what they do at the appointment. never been this far…

All the normal stuff. Blood pressure, weight, urine sample.. My Dr. starts checking at 36 weeks but you can refuse and wait if you'd like. I also got a strep B test done (swab of your vagina) and blood work for HIV

Well I am kinda scared to be checked last time I was checked I was 2-3cm already.. I am hoping to be around 3 or something I do not want to go to the hospital just yet... lol.. plus my boyfriend works tomorrow so I really can't have this baby tomorrow. lol.. @mrsstewart

I just went today and I'm 36 weeks they just did the urine and measurement, then did a sweep test for stds and some other disease to make sure everything is clear and I don't need to be treated for anything before he comes. Doctors don't tend to do pelvic exams unless something is wrong. That opens up to bacterial infections!

my doctor is checking me tomorrow (i'll be 36 weeks Friday) this is normally when he starts checking every week. it just depends on the doctor

I wish I was dilated! 😒 last 2 times I was no where... but you never know girl you can still be where you are you can be in the same spot for weeks

@mrsstewart, I really hope not.. but he needs to stay in until Saturday. my baby shower is that day. anything after that is fine by me.. lol. all I know is if I am 4cm he will sent me to L&D.. and if he is like he was last night giving me bad back pain and contractions. I don't know how much sleep I will get..
