I Only Got Two. Anatomy Scan. & One After That to Check on My Baby Again.

I believe it's typically two.

I had one to confirm the pregnancy at 6 weeks, then another to make sure the baby was growing right at 15 weeks, then the anatomy scan at 20 weeks, and then I had one around 32 weeks to check the babies growth.

@tattie, - if all is well.. yes, as birth ladies stated, you get two. If your high risk you get more to monitor the baby. But... they now have elective 3/4d ultrasound services. I go every 2 weeks since I was around 11 weeks. it's the greatest thing...you won't see a lot of facial details obviously but to watch them squirm and perform acrobatics is miraculous!!!

it depends on how many your insurance will cover . I have medicaid and it only covered the one when I first found out and the 20 week ultrasound . call your insurance and ask or its like 100 for a ultrasound .
