@novmbermoma, yeah, if you're paying for anything then you should have a say! For sure. The fact that I didn't pay for anything, I felt like I didn't want to butt in. It was the same with my bridal shower. They payed, so, I just showed up! Haha. Just tell them- "if my wallet was staying closed, so would my mouth. But I'm paying for this. I'm for sure picking the theme.".

Since it was thrown for me, not by me, I didn't want to pick the theme. I thought it was so nice of them to throw it for me, I didn't want to butt in. And it turned out beautifully, so, I didn't mind at all. 😊

I think you should my mama is throwing mine and she asked for the theme and now she has a problem with it saying if she is going to plan it she is going to plan it her way! So I'm like what's the point of you even asking me.
