Should I use a crib bumper for my daughter? I have researched a lot on it and have seen many things saying that it is a suffocation hazard. I just bought her crib bedding last night and made her little bed up just to see how I like it (still have to take it back off and wash it of course) but wondering if I should even fool with using the bumper at all.

Maybe it's not so safe. I would say it is ok for a newborn but what newborn actually sleeps in their bed in the beginning unless it's in your room?

I have a breathable bumper pad! Works wonders, Camille rolls to the edge, and has some padding, can breathe through it and won't get sick in the crib.

no it's not safe even for newborns because newborns Scoot a lot but don't know how to back up if they press their little face into it. please don't use it 😟😟 the breathable bumper pad sounds promising though
