Like you peed yourself but you have absolute no control over it stopping and it's a lot. Lol freaked me out for a little while

feel like your peeing yourself for me it felt like a ball then when i stood up i thought i pissed myself

mine happened in little gushes.

Lol I thought it happened to me earlier while taking a shower turned out I was actually peeing & couldn't control it cause it stopped 15 seconds later @edomke @manimommy2015

Did you start feeling contractions right after or how was it? How many weeks were you? @manimommy2015 & how did you figure out if it was the real thing? I'm scared I won't know or figure it out too late@_akgirl

yeaaaaa well technically today... I'm having cramps on and off and baby is agitated so hopefully anyway now. I have an appointment at noon today so some good news on our progress would be music to my ears

well we actually just got to a restaurant when it started (about 6pm) i thought i peed myself. i had to run to the bathroom. it was after the 4th time i figured out it must be my water breaking. i got to the hospital about 8pm and they confirmed and admitted me. it was at least 4hrs after i got there that contractions started. so about 6 hrs after my water broke. i was the same. afraid i wouldn't know. but you will.

i didnt feel contractions at all until they started me on pitocin i was 41 weeks when my water broke i realized it was my water when i started walking and gushes came out youll know its your water @ckatx3

Oh my lol in public... At least it wasn't the dramatic type of water breaking @_akgirl were you dilated at all? & do you start contractions right after they started you on pitocin? Cause I might get induced next week n was wondering how that worked @manimommy2015

I would say like how you know you're on your period but it comes out a lot haha, and you won't have any control over it. I didn't really feel the contractions but it happened when I was sleeping and it was early in the morning. I really felt it, and then and there I knew it was my water.

If it were to happen to me while I was sleeping I would definitely think I peed my pants first lol how did you feel?@shellyds

I kinda thought that at first but then more came out so I knew. I felt weird walking around haha I actually had to sit on towels. My mucous plug came out when I went to use the restroom too. When I was using the restroom it kind of hurt but I think that's when your water breaks at first then it doesn't even hurt after.

haha. yeah very thankful for that because I was wearing white pants! lol. and pitocin is not fun. i hope baby comes before you have to have that.

@_akgirl, can you elaborate on how the pitocin felt for you. I just want to know, like be prepared somewhat because in the end you never know😓😓

@ce5ce, http://www.fitpregnancy.com/pregnancy/labor-delivery/ask-labor-nurse/whats-pitocin-really good article about it. it was a bitch. it forces your body to have contractions. big contractors. in a faster time than you normally would have. thankfully i didn't need a lot of it. just enough to help get me to 5cm. that's usually the hardest. after that it went by so quick. at one point i went from 6cm to my girl starting to claw her way out in like 10 minutes.
