Take some mesh underwear home with you from the hospital and wear those with pads (the hospital will give you the mesh underwear and large pads while you're there). Pads are probably way more comfortable than the disposal underwear.

The mesh underwear from the hospital works good the first few days then switch to heavy flow pads

It depends on your body mine was about a month keep in mind that it was building up for 9 months mine was really bad for about 2 weeks then started the regular period the. Finally went away at almost 3-4 weeks but like I said it depends on your body you might have it a week or so
