Thats how it was for me and i was dilated to a 3 but those could last for either hours or days before you go into labor, before i went into labor i was constipated really bad and then it stop the day before labor plus i was hungry that much and i could just feel this major urge to push

I had little contractions off and on the day before I had my son. I was already dilated to a 2. I started having really strong painful contractions at midnight and didn't go to the hospital till 3 am, and I was only a 3. But you'll know when they are real.. I cried, yelled, cussed, everything.. And I was also using the rest room a lot while I was contracting.

It started with full on contractions the day I went into labor. I went from 0-10 cm that day. So I literally had no signs of labor coming at all until that day

by using the restroom a lot what do you mean? peeing a lot or? Because I've been going number two a lot lately, like multiple times a day.@mommyofkaiden,

so yours started as mild period like cramps? they weren't crazy labor pains like at first? @forever_1127 cuz the type Im feeling are mild period like cramps, the type you'd feel the day before you get your period.

Both.. I would pee a little with every contraction. Then I stopped peeing and I went number 2 with almost every contraction until I got the epidural. You're body is probably starting to clean it's self out to prepare for labor. @mariceladez

Less than a week before I gave birth, I started feeling mild flu like symptoms (chills, diarrhea). And 2 days before I gave birth, I was dilated to a 2 and having mild cramping that turned into inconsistent contractions. It took 36 hours for them to become consistent and very painful, and at that point I was dilated to 4. I had my son 47 hours after the cramping started. Hang in there!
