it does suck I have to rock and sing and nurse him to nap. or sleep. then wait 20 min to move him. then move him to the bed. he always wakes up. and I have to spend another 20 min after he nurses himself back to sleep and lets go of the nipple. I can't start the timer tell he lets go of my boob. any advice ladies Bc sometimes it doesn't work and I have to spend another 20 min. that's what I'm doing now. it sucks cause I'm gonna spend the entire nap doing this... and he's not gonna get any sleep. but I refuse to have him nap on me forever. I can't live with that. I have to shower eat clean etc

Maybe put him down and let him self-soothe? some ppl are against it.

@alicia3_21, I haven't had my baby yet but I helped raise my Goddaughter (since I basically lived there) and my aunt had her on a schedule whether she was visibly tired (most of the time she was) or not she'd put her down n she would eventually learn that it was nap time. sometimes she'd cry but she would make sure nothing was physically wrong and just let her self-soothe. Idk if it works with all babies but she has 4.

well today he won't even nap with me holding him he is on a sleep shedual. he has only took two twenty min naps since 7 am and it's almost1 @hippiebaby89

@alicia3_21, I would just wait until he gets tired then, that's my opinion. maybe put him in a bouncer or swing so you can get things done?
