tmi.....What does a contraction feel like? I've been told your stomach muscles get really tight but I get this pain where I feel like my vagina is being ripped apart.. I went in at 19 weeks due to the ripping feeling being every 3 minutes and lasting 30 seconds.. they had no explanation for it.. well it happened so bad yesterday walking into Walmart it almost put me on my knees :/... i see the doctor July 8th

I'm 27 weeks and just began getting them around a week ago. It's a tight pulling feeling in my lower stomach. They only last seconds at a time though. Not very long. There may be one after the Other for a bit but they go away for me eventually
Your body is just adjusting & probably its stretching. its normal people have different experiences but if your a1st time mama it will be a lil more painful since your cervix & uterus have never streched out to that extent. a contraction feels like a veryy intense cramp like a cholic cramp. your tummy will get really hard. you probably will experience braxton hicks which are lil sample of what contractions actually feel like.
Look up lightning crotch and see if it's similar to what you're feeling. I get it sometimes and just have to wait until it passes
