I can say the old wives tales were completely wrong for me ! They all said I was having a girl and there is no mistaking that he has boy parts .. I know it's hard to be patient trust me I am so impatient it's not even funny but I would hold off until you know for sure , or buy gender neutral !

What kinda stuff? If it's clothes if wait big things like swings pak n plays ect just get it who cares if you have a boy throw a blue blanket over it and call it good baby won give a Fck

Wives tales aren't always true.. I believed in it before I found out what I was having and I thought it was going to be a girl but nope I'm having a boy. I would wait and see what you are having then get stuff. But you can get neutral outfits for your baby.

@californiahaley, do they make the big things like the carseats etc in gender neutral colors?

@rnfalw2014, they make everything In gender neutral colors. But DO NOT EVER buy a used car seat. It's actually illegal to sell used car seats. You don't know the history of it. If it's been in an accident ect. Just don't do it. Anything else used go for it. Neve a car seat.

@californiahaley, thank you for that I've been looking at car seats being sold used. I was always under the assumption that it just couldn't be expired.

I will tell you the Chinese gender predictor worked both times for me

They can't be sold at all even though people do sell them. Only use one from a trusted source like a family member. For example once a car seats been on an accident it must be tossed and a new one purchased. You don't know if someone is selling one from an accident and try got a new one and are just wanting money back.

Once you're done with a car seat you're supposed to cut the straps off and the lining and dump it or take it to a car seat drop off place where it'll be properly disposed of. If you take to the dump you're supposed to make it look as un usable as possible so someone that is low income doesn't want to take it. It does suck that something so expensive shouldn't be resold as most of the time they seem un touched like most baby items.

all of them said girl for me except for I think the Chinese one said boy and I'm having a boy.

Also, before I found out I bought gender nuetral clothing at thrift stores.

don't believe them I used the baking soda thing and my baby heart rate is about 150 all the time and he's a boy but all the things said a girl I just bought gender neutral colors and regular onsies n stuff until I found out it dosent take that long in the beginning
