so my job royally pissed me off. i called to call off and they going to tell me I can't basically. telling me I have only been there for 1 week . since I went home early last night they was mad. that manager told them some untrue shit I bet. I basically almost fainted . If I would have passed out I could have harmed my baby and me . then what? they would have had a fat ass lawsuit because that would have been it for me if I lost my baby. like how you going to tell me I can't call off? I tried to do it from my associate hotline but they wouldn't give me my numbers !! so , that really irritated me . like I called you 2 hours before my shift started . and I tried to be responsible and do it right. but , you basically threat me to work . so , tomorrow I'm going to the highest person and talking to them . because I felt insulted. like he was pulling a power trip on me. I feel like I have been picked on since I got there. first you don't give me my schedule then , you over work me , now you telling me I can't take care of myself? in order to work I need to be healthy. they know I'm pregnant too. like what's up with that? also this girl that worked with me lied and said I went to the bathroom on my break. I'm like no I went to the bathroom because one of the managers saw me and was like you ok? if you feel sick go to the bathroom . I didn't have a break smh . already huh . they trying to start already

I almost never took breaks and whoever was on the floor with me would say I "disappear" all the time. Like excuse me nark,, I work 3 sections!

Coming from corporate side of things, whenever anyone starts a new job, you're basically on probation for 60 days. No calling out, leaving early, or making mistakes. I know that at my work, if someone calls in within the first 60 days, they can be fired no questions asked. I'm sorry you don't feel well, but try your best for the next 60 days so they don't have a reason to screw ya over.

@jennatess, at Walmart , you do have a probation period but you can call out or leave early ,, but you only get 3 times to do it . Then if they want they can fire.

@doodiemo, ahh. Every place is the same but different. I feel like you have to be a perfect employee for awhile before you can start calling out of work. Haha. I've never known anybody who has worked at Walmart though.

I didn't call out or late or leave early until like 6 months of working I was so scared of getting fired. But that was long ago lol.

it's probably just policy my fiancé's mom got fired from a place because she had w family deaths back to back and she ended up missing 3 weeks for them and even tho she had proof they still did. I'm sorry you have to go through that tho

but he can't . and they know I'm pregnant . you cant just fire someone when they gave you no reason. and I'm protected by the fmla that's insane. if he does I'm going to the higher person
