do u ladies think its neccesary to buy the Dreft clothes soap for newborns? or is it ok to just wash in regular soap…

No I use all free and clear

dreft . sometimes they are allergic

it's not too pricey at babies r us & the powder kind lasts a long time

I never washed my son's clothes with it. Always just normal soap and he was fine

As long as it's free of dye and perfume it's safe for the baby. It's cheaper because you can use it in your clothes as well.

I'm going to use the detergent and softner I already have that way if my son is allergic for done reason I'll know to change out everything completely
