This is my first time EVER putting make up on myself. I don't think I did too terribly bad. Any tips…

is the black eye liner or eye shadow

Neutral colors for eyeshadow always look awesome and make your eyes pop. Try a gold lid with brown on the outside, and a shimmery white for under the brow 😍

Don't use up your whole lid space.. The space between your brows to your crease from your crease to your actual lid.. Try using the purple on the lid use the darker color to add definition to the lid.. Try shimmery colors on the lid and add definition with the purple or that deeper color... @alicia3_21, the black is eyeliner. I did feel like I was putting it on way too thick @boymama I'm not really big on neutral colors though /: @amanda2495 thought you were supposed to use up the whole lid space? @jomommaclark yep

this is a simple eye shadow application.

I always put a light share right under the eye brow. I think eye liner on the bottom would look good on you. keep it thin. curl your lashes ands use mascara.

I use a wet thin brush and eye shadow for liner. makes it more smooth like.

also if you like bold colors best to get good eye shadow from like the make up stores.

mascara and curling your eye lashes will make your eyes look different and would def. make your make up stand out

See, I had it on the bottom, but I felt like it was in way too thick. I don't like mascara though. I hate how it cakes up @jomommaclark I don't like mascara or curling my lashes /: @lopez.22

There are many a eye shape.. If you don't like neutrals that's totally fine.. Try it with different colors and if that's eyeliner. It's thick. We want to make your eyes look opened.. Put the eyeliner in the lashes you get them lined but it isn't taking up the whole eye lid.. Try do just a couple of coats of mascara.. Sometimes mascara can just get to clumpy when applied
