I always knew I wanted homebirths d although I have yet to manage one due to 2 failure to progress (at the breakneck speed they bloody demanded!) and 2 induced for post dates... 42+1 and 42+5. this time I've asked again for a homebirth. I know my body and I'm determined! you have to go with what you feel in your gut. research your options... home / birthing unit / hospital and see what you'd feel most comfortable with. All are safe options, you'll be supported by your health professionals and transferred to a more acute area if the need arose anyway. good luck with your research. x

I'm in Kent too. I was offered Tunbridge Wells (Pembury) Hospital or Maidstone Birth Centre. I had my daughter at Pembury so have opted for there again, but I've heard the birth centre is good.
