How many mommies on here have a baby with #CHD? (congenital heart disease) or know someone with it? Yourself/friends/family. Anyone in general. I know it's late so most won't see this til' whenever they wake up and get on. As a mommy who has a son with it, we all need our support so wanting to start a #CHDSupportGroup and raise #CHDAwareness. <3 if you have a story you want to share, mention in comments or make a post sharing it and hashtag #CHD. You're not alone in this nor is anyone else who may feel like they are <3

@yummycake, yummycake, I'm sorry to hear that! Yes, it is super tough, but keep me updated! I'm here for anyone going through it because trust me I know how hard it is. My baby boy had open heart surgery at 9 days old he is now 15months old,almost 16months old. He will have to go through a couple more surgeries too. It's not easy to deal with at all on your own, but with some support it may be just a little easier because you will know what to expect and will have other mommies to connect with who have babies with CHD as well. No one deserves to feel alone. I know I sure did when I had my son.

yes its not very common in my experience. all i know is because of youtube. but nobody has posted the day to hour routine struggles that i might need to prep for. among the fact that they must require special medical care. ect. so im happy u plan on forming this group

@yummycake, if your baby does end up having it and needing surgery after surgery they can't be on their chest for two months. Means even if the roll over because of the pressure. I didn't eve rock him normal because that would mean he would be on his chest. To rock him I had to cradle him instead. Plus afterwards they get put on medication or mine at least did most get to on Lasix if anything it just depends on situation...
