I honestly wouldn't and I'd get treatment for her hair not dye it

6 is way too young, get her hair chalk or something! Come back to dying when she's AT LEAST 11-12 (at least)

They have prescription meds for lice treatment. call your pediatrician.

I don't know how it affects lice but my mom dyed my hair the first time when I was 8. I had been begging her for it and it never had any negative affect though we did get judgmental comments.

When I was little, my older sister, me, and my little sister all got lice. We tried getting rid of it with treatments but it wasnt working, so we all got to chose a color close to our natural color and got our hair dyed. I was probably in the 4/5 grade.

I wouldn't use anything other than temp dye....like maybe splat, just wouldn't use the bleach kit

Sally's has temp dye that it won't bleach it just stays in for about 5washes. My four year old son wanted blue heart badly so I caved. Didn't go to the scalp, no fumes and was done in 15min.
