Yea I've heard that too, but some females drop earlier than others and still carry on with their pregnancy. and when the baby drops it drops into the birth canal. its preparing for labor. nothing major to worry about, just like a female can lose their mucus plug at 22weeks but don't have the baby until 38weeks. all depends on the baby.
