Question. My boyfriend has a black lab dog,really sweet dog but how safe will my baby be around him?…

You definitely need to introduce them. most labs are really sweet with children. I would have ur man bring home baby's clothes and blankets that baby has worn and have the pup smell and get acquainted with the baby's smell before bringing baby home. when baby comes home. the dog should be given love n attention while you are caring for the baby in the first hours of being home...so there's no jealousy.

I have a year old black lab! He's about 100lbs. I would ease the baby in to his life. Let him smell a blanket, see the baby from a distance. Labs are very happy lovable dogs but they have zero sense of personal space. My fear is my lab will inadvertently hurt the baby. So I will keep him at a distance for a while when my baby comes

Do what @hippiebaby89 said I'd just like to add that when you bring baby home each of you come in so the dog calms down after seeing you both then you should sit on the couch with baby in your arms and have your be bring in the dog and allow the dog to smell and meet baby. With your bf holding on to the collar so that if the dog gets too excited he can pull the dog back. Otherwise as time goes on the lab should be good(: they're really good dogs. I'll be doing the same with my pit

should be fine. just take it slow and watch him at first i have a pit bull and everyone keeps saying i need to get ride of her but she loves kids

We have a pitbull. And is sweet and love kids. If u see him growl and stuff then that no good
