It's not that I think porn is a bad thing. Because I don't. I just don't think I would condone such a young kid watching it. They should be worried about sports and action figures, not sex and hormones.

Definitely block it yes. But teaching him sex is bad. Ehhhh idk honestly. It's not a bad thing. It's natural. I'm just not sure how I would personally explain something like that to a little boy. My parents always told me it's something adults do when they love each other. Which is okay I think. But if I ever have a son I think I'm going to leave that topic to his dad! Lol

He's 8. That's not even puberty yet!!!??? I wouldn't spank him but I'd definitely take away the iPad for a while and make sure sites like that are blocked.

I would punish him and take away the iPad and when you give it back block everything except for kids stuff my son who just turned 9 like YouTube but all he watches is minecraft video

I think he's very young and I would be sad if I had to explain to my boys at 8 what he just watched, but I do plan on giving the sex talk early on, answer all questions honestly and not "baby" the conversation. Sex is natural, I'm just tripping on the age thing.

The more I think about it the more I get annoyed. It's my assumption that if you know about sex acts when you're that young that maybe that means someone touched you or showed you something inappropriate, and I think they had to have it shown to them somehow in order to know what to look for, and in that case it just makes me sad and mad. I would be pretty pissed to have to tell my boys that they don't need to be looking at that. I wouldn't buy my son's their own iPad at 8 so I don't think I would have the issue, but now I'll be ultra paranoid and watch their every move online.

I think no matter what you do to keep your children safe and sound these days, you can't control the outside world. Most likely he saw this from a friend and knew where to find it. I think this now means you should give him half a sex talk with out making it complicated and then take the iPad and make it more 8 year old friendly. But just know he'll be exposed to things like this outside the home because not every parent looks after their child the same way you might. But at least you'll know he has some kind of grasp of what the reality of things are. @kaidenleewadesmommy
