I have had mild contractions but I'm still only 1cm so my doctor did a membrane sweep this morning to see if that helps any 🙏🙏 if not then I will be induced on July 1st 🙌🙌🎉🎉 any of you ladies have to be induced due to being past due and how was the experience.... also did a membrane sweep work for any of you??

yes cause my body wouldnt dilate and I wasn't having contractions so they had to insert a cervix balloon in me and give me pitcon to make me contract in order to get him out safely

your welcome I know the feeling I wanted his due date to come then my water broke at 35 weeks and I kept telling the nurses I wasn't ready yet could they keep him.in lol

what do they do.? like what is the process when they induce you.?
yeah they were intense. they will offer u a pain med that goes in ur iv to help with the pain it makes u feel drunk but I was able to sleep with it

it just feels like a very light cramp doesn't hurt when the Dr first puts her finger in there that's when u feel a very light cramp then it goes away
It was really fast!! the only thing that was bad was my contractions was 10xs worse than what they would have been if I would have had them without the pitcon. the epidural was a life saver for sure

I was induced but it wasn't because I went past my due date it was because my water broke and my body was dilating and I wasn't contracting

I had a membrane sweep yesterday was about a 2 if i don't have my baby girl this weekend they will induce me July 2
