can they tell what the baby weighs at 36 weeks?

yes. im 35 and they told me last week she weighs 5 lbs 3 ounces

its just a guess. it can be off by 2lbs but some doctors can tell, others don't tell nothing.

mine hasn't told me yet, but do I have to ask or how do they know?

Ask your baby weight cause some doctors won't tell.

Supposedly both my babies were going to be monster 10+ pound babies according to dr measurements and sonograms. My daughter was 5.4# and my son was 6.10#. Take it with a grain of salt. Lol 😂

Oh and these were two different doctors in 2 different states. Lol

dam they was off almost 5lbs I would be mad Af @erinflaherty818 usually they off by 2lbs but 5 ?? lord Jesus. these doctors these days.

I had my 36 week appointment on Tuesday and she told me my baby is 7 pounds.

Haha right @queenquee ! First baby almost 12 years ago was to be a 10 pounder and she was the 5.4. Then all these years later the baby's dr in 2014 said 10+ pounds and I tried to tell her those estimates have been wrong before. She assured me that technology was better now and recommended epidural (my girl 12 years ago was natural). So I did epidural only to have 6.10#. Lol waaaaaaay off. I won't listen to any talk about this baby on the way!
