My daughter had her 3month checkup today and they said she's underweight. She's EBF and is fed on demand and weighs 12.9. Is that really considered "underweight"? She has no troubles eating or latching and hasn't been sick at all lately (all questions her DR asked me). Any thoughts?

Some Drs will say that to try to get you to formula feed but I wouldn't worry about it unless she starts to seem hungry even after feeding

I think my daughter was around that at 3mo, maybe a little smaller. As long as they are following their own growth curve, they're ok. Provided they're not losing weight. My doctors always just said she's petite. She's never been over the 25 percentile on their charts for anything. But she's growing, meeting the milestones, and is a happy baby! She'll be one Friday and is about 19lbs.
